The cake looks like that.
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of melted butter or vegetable oil
2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 table spoon of cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
chopped apples (up to 4; you can use tinned peaches instead)
Whisk the eggs with sugar, add the melted butter/ oil and mix together. Pour the liquid to the bowl with the pre-mixed flour, baking powder, cocoa and cinnamon. Stir until smooth and lump-free. If the batter is too thick (i.e. you can’t mix it with the spoon effortlessly), add some milk until the texture is OK. Then add chopped apples and walnuts, mix to spread them all over the batter. Prepare the mould/ tin/ pan by applying some fat onto it (the cake separates better from the tin walls when baked). Pour the batter, put into the oven at 200C for approx. 50-60 mins.
I have never found an easier recipe 🙂 This one works well even if you do your best not to follow it 🙂
